- show you how to use the tools of carpentry properly, safely and successfully
- help you feel safe and comfortable around power tools
- give you the confidence to use them!
- Most of all, give you the chance to practice using them with someone to guide you through the process.

A 6 Day Workshop
Need an office or storage shed?
Want to be able to build it yourself?
This is an in-depth exploration of framing, going much further than the Basic Carpentry Workshop can.
You will learn how floors, walls and gable style roofs are built, while using basic tools of the trade to build them!
You will walk away from this workshop feeling confident and empowered to dive in and build that structure that you want and need!
Some experience using hand tools and power tools is a prerequisite for this course.
If you are just beginning to explore carpentry, you can sign up for the 2 day introduction to hand tools and power tools workshop before signing up for the 6 Day Framing Workshop.

These low cost events give people
the opportunity
to practice, improve and learn new skills
while working on actual projects,
either their own or other students' projects.
It is a chance to gain knowledge, plan and design projects,
ask specific questions and get answers.
