Staying at the Farm
We have space available for single, couples' or family retreats. Enjoy the serene beauty of the meadows. Feel the magic of the forest. Walk by the river or just sit by the falls. The lower falls is a great place for a dip in the water and there is a beautiful swimming lake with park and children's playground just a two minute drive away. There are also abundant trails and waterfalls in the area.
Mader's corner store is just 2 minutes up the road with gas and basic groceries. There is a larger grocery store in New Germany which is a 12 minute drive from the farm. New Germany also has an ATM, drug store, liquor store and a couple of restaurants. Mahone Bay, a beautiful little sea side town, is a scenic 25 minute drive away with pub and a number of lovely cafes and restaurants.

We have spaces available for RV/Camper parking if you would like to stay at the farm and bring your own accommodation. (no RV outlets at the moment).

The Milk Room
Solomon Brook Farm was previously a
successful dairy operation. This space is above the room where the milk was stored.
Now it is a cute getaway
with gorgeous views of rolling hills and meadows
where horses can often be seen grazing. The large window faces west, so the evening light is very beautiful and you can watch stunning sunsets.
Comfortably sleeps 2 with queen size bed, and a sitting area with large couch, chair and coffee table. There is a small kitchen, a dining table, fridge for perishables and a small induction cooktop and microwave for cooking. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes and utensils.

Drinking water is provided in 5 gallon jugs and washroom facilities with a composting toilet and two sinks are inside the barn - about 30 feet away.
Hot and cold running water, a 3 piece bathroom with full size tub/shower and flush toilet, as well as laundry facilities are provided in the room adjacent to the farm house - about 200 feet from the Milk Room.

The Cabin
The cabin is very near the
farm house.
It is a beautiful, spacious and very comfortable space with large cathedral style ceiling and big bright windows.
The cabin is an open concept with a spacious living room and large kitchen on the main floor.
In the evening you can watch

The kitchen table and bar style eating counter face east so you can enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sunrise over the meadow.

The loft is accessed by stairs and has a double bed for sleeping. A large window faces east with views of the meadow, forest and even a slight glimpse of Solomon Brook.
You can almost always hear the soft sound of Lantz Falls in the background. There are mowed paths to the falls and it is a very short walk to sit by the pool and enjoy the beauty of the falls. You may even want to jump in!

There is a 3 piece bathroom with sink, full size tub/shower and flush toilet, as well as laundry facilities. It is located in a room adjacent to the farm house and is accessed independently from the farm house which has its own bathroom facilities.
